Ouch! Is your organization bleeding talent? This was a timely read for me personally as my organization just finished its Employee Satisfaction Survey and I have started discussing results with managers. I can’t wait to to work with them on some creative and cost-effective actions that will immediately and positively impact their people.
Read and then re-read numbers 2, 3 and 5.
#2 If you have unsatisfied employees, your employees will leave.
#3 If you aren’t paying your people to market and competitors in your industry are, your employees will leave.
#5 If you are losing leadership, your employees will leave.
Keep your employees, well, keep the high potential/high performers! Spend time and money on developing and educating your internal rock stars so that when leadership roles and new jobs open up, you can pull up your existing employees.
