Because you can never be overeducated when it comes to wage laws

Nice little article on classifying exempt versus non-exempt employees. The classification of computer professionals has long plagued many an HR professional. Are all your computer pro’s exempt? Are they salaried non-exempt? How do you account for any extra hours they may incur from working on long projects versus just a typical work week? Do you make your exempt employees clock in and out for each shift work and meal periods? How often are your computer pro’s making autonomous decisions that effect the overall business strategy? There are just too many questions one could ask regarding Wage and Hour Laws.

Just a bit a food for thought at breakfast time. Employee Job Classifications…chew on that! Now go to work people!
